Yes, avocado is the main event, but there are several other milestones in these three movies.

First, Abby acquired and I assembled each of the pieces to his high chair (thanks to everyone at Levi’s for this!). It’s pretty clear he likes being on our level, just look at that smile. Abby also put him in his new hard plastic bib (the other ones are so flimsy). With everything in place, he begins his first formal dinner at the table with his now standard rice cereal mix:

Next, the main event, which really needs no introduction or explanation:

Last, he’s really sitting up on his own for long stretches of time now. Yes, there’s almost always a pillow behind his head (we learned that lesson the hard way, so did he come to think of it). But look at how strong he is:

As my dad is fond of saying, “he’s a dude!”
