After work, a pizza dinner, and a quick trip to the Marina for errands, the three of us stopped by Baker Beach to enjoy the what little remained of the day. It was beautiful and warm that afternoon, but windy and cold on the beach. Sawyer wasn’t much interested in the water, but I can’t really blame him — dropping one toe in the water for just one second had me running away too. Here’s the scene on the beach:

I love >living so close to the beach, even if it’s rarely warm enough to go there. I promised myself that I would go as often as I could, especially when it’s nice, and I can’t wait until the fall when things finally heat up around here. Expect plenty of sand castle pictures soon!
