Sawyer woke up around 3:30 am this morning, coughing, crying, and hurling, before settling down for a fun game of “Firetruck, police car, ambulance.” He was up until 5:30 or so when he finally fell back asleep, only to wake up again at 6:30 looking for his elephant (elephant needed a bath, but was thankfully dry by then). In spite of feeling so lousy, Sawyer was in an excellent mood for most of the day, but nothing can top this quick video of him at his best just after he woke up:
Hopefully he’s feeling better tomorrow. I’ll be sure to add his thoughts on the new year to the blog then. Happy new year!
