A few weeks ago, we enlarged Sawyer’s bed from bassinet to crib as he was running out of room. The crib gives him ample opportunity to move around.

He has mastered turning over to the right from his back to his belly (he hasn’t figured out turning over to his left yet), but I only wish that he would stop doing it in his sleep. It isn’t such a problem when he turns over half way to his side…

…but when he makes it all the over he wakes himself up. He unfortunately has not figured out how to right himself. He huffs and puffs until he gets the attention of me or Scott. This happens both day and night (just when we were getting used to sleeping a straight 8 hours again).

So, Scott and I thought that we were being smart by placing him closer to the right side of the crib to impede his turn. It only sort of worked. I have a feeling that this will not be the last time he tries to outsmart us.
