As you may remember from Sawyer turning three months old , I began listing his accomplishments. So, just days before his four month birthday, Sawyer turned over by himself.
He has been thinking about turning over for about a month, but he got serious in the last 2 weeks. He spent an entire day being very frustrated that he could only get 3/4 of the way over. The next day, he lost the frustration and to quote Nike, he “just did it”. Now we are really in trouble, because he turns himself over so that he can watch baseball on the tv. I guess it could be worse.
I will spare you the frustrated Sawyer video that I recorded last week, because this one is so much more fun to watch. I can post the frustrated one if you like, just leave a comment. The video below is taken first from Sawyer’s perspective and then from above.
I am publishing this before we go to the pediatrician for Sawyer’s check-up, so I will add his length and weight later on. I am betting he will be just under 14 pounds and be 26” long.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to All! If I had thought ahead, I would have had Sawyer wear his green stripe outfit from yesterday for this post. So, please enjoy the next closest outfit of green that Sawyer owns — his “leprechaun shorts” and “techno animals wearing headphones” shirt — while he plays in his jungle.
