Today I was having the carpet cleaned in Sawyer’s room. Sawyer decided at the beginning of the week, I think due to having two new teeth on the bottom coming in, that every time he had a mouthful of milk, he would just let it fall out of his mouth. What a mess. Scott pulled everything out of his room. Sawyer found new ways to play.

While we were waiting for the carpet to dry, we went to Yerba Buena Park, which is about 8 long blocks away. While Ohio was digging out from many inches of ice and snow, but we were enjoying a beautiful day. January is usually very rainy, so I am enjoying any day that Sawyer and I can spend outside. His new shoes, size 6 1/2, have mini cleats that help him grip.

Literally a second later, a little guy came whooshing down the slide. I swooped up Sawyer just in time. Then that same little boy asked me if he could borrow Sawyer’s truck. Watch what happens when I leave Sawyer on his own for a few seconds.

He has to touch every wheel on every stroller he sees!

He is getting really good at figuring out how to get down from places. This made me really happy to see.

Then they brought out hula hoops and balls.

He’s pretty much running in this one.
